Optimizing the quartz life cycle: Quartzware design

At the beginning of each life cycle the quartzware is designed.

The adequate quartzware design has a significant impact on functionality and cost of a component, i.e. handling, lifetime, yield during the use in the process.

Heraeus Quarzglas offers design support and consulting prior to the manufacture of the first prototype. Therefore, the way of manufacturing the component can be optimized right from the beginning. In mutual development projects with our customers quartzware is tailored for specific processes. We employ advanced CAD systems and – if required – finite element methods.

We support the process requirements of our customers by re-design proposals. In this case, standard quartzware will be reconstructed based on customer’s requirements. This helps to further optimize cost and process yield.
